About Me
Writing Music for over 30 years
As a young man in Jamaica, I was encouraged by Duke Reid the producer of the original song “The Tide is High” by the Paragons, and also my cousin Alston Bair a singer/actor in pantomine who toured with Adam Wade.
I did not utilize the encouragement because I was more into working for the government of Jamaica, then the government of the Unite States. I later came to Canada as a student. After finishing school I worked for the Canadian government. Fifteen years before retirement, I returned to songwriting. I was told by artists from SGA that my songs are good and that I should get serious, including Phyllis Hyman, Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, and other well-established artists. It’s my ambition for a recording artist to sing one of my many rhythm songs.
